CAFOD Club

Our school has launched a new CAFOD Club, meeting every Wednesday during lunchtime in the chapel. We are delighted to share that we are now officially registered with CAFOD, joining a global community committed to faith in action and positive change.

Our Year 6 leaders guided the group through an introduction to Laudato Si’, Pope Francis’ call to care for our common home. Together, the children explored why caring for the planet matters and discussed practical ways we can protect the environment in our everyday lives.

The session encouraged pupils to think about how they can make a difference both at home and around school, from reducing waste and saving energy to showing respect for nature and one another. The children shared thoughtful ideas and showed real enthusiasm for becoming young stewards of the Earth.

Our CAFOD Club is a wonderful opportunity for pupils to grow in faith, leadership, and global awareness, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact they will continue to make.

CAFOD Club is a fun educational club hosted by Mrs Kemp-Smith.  We learn how to save our planet by reducing our carbon footprint.

We are in the process of making a big display to spread awareness, so both children and staff can keep our planet healthy.  We are also planning a fundraising stall to raise money for CAFOD, so they can carry on saving lives of people in need, as this is very important!

Everyone from Year 1–6 is welcome to join CAFOD Club.
