CAFOD Club

Our school has launched a new CAFOD Club, meeting every Wednesday during lunchtime in the chapel. We are delighted to share that we are now officially registered with CAFOD, joining a global community committed to faith in action and positive change.

This week, our Year 6 leaders guided the group through an introduction to Laudato Si’, Pope Francis’ call to care for our common home. Together, the children explored why caring for the planet matters and discussed practical ways we can protect the environment in our everyday lives.

The session encouraged pupils to think about how they can make a difference both at home and around school, from reducing waste and saving energy to showing respect for nature and one another. The children shared thoughtful ideas and showed real enthusiasm for becoming young stewards of the Earth.

Our CAFOD Club is a wonderful opportunity for pupils to grow in faith, leadership, and global awareness, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact they will continue to make.
