In History we are learning about the lives of Florence Nightingale, Mary Seacole and Edith Cavell and to enhance the children’s learning of this topic we will be having Nurturing Nurses Day on Tuesday 1 st October. To keep in character for the day, we are asking that the children come to school dressed as a nurse or soldier from the past ie. Florence Nightingale, or a soldier from the Crimean War. There is no pressure to buy anything new so alternatively, mufti can be worn.
