As well as discovering about the afterlife in the workshop, ‘Ancient Egyptian beliefs about life after death’, the children will learn about mummification by disembowelling a mummy-doll, visit a real mummy (Par-Er-Abu) and mummify their own toy. For this, we ask your child brings with them on the day, a small toy (no bigger than 20cm).

On the day of the trip, the coaches will leave promptly at 8.45am so the children need to be lined up in the playground by 8.30am. We aim to return to school by 3.30pm depending on the traffic. We apologise in advance if we are late back and for any inconvenience this may cause.
